<Watch for the sign of the Saint - he will be back>
For the past couple of years I've been picking up old Saint books
and finding great enjoyment in the doings of one Simon Templar.
Unfortunately, they seem to be mostly out of print now and there
are unfilled gaps in my collection.
I would like to know if anyone knows :
a) What happened to Patricia Holm. She is still prominent as late as
_The_Saint_in_Miami (during the Phony War), but the Saint is
starting to look seriously at other girls.
b) Ditto for Hoppy Uniatz.
c) If Leslie Charteris is still alive and writing (he was as recently as
the late 70's) and if not, did he ever do a final climatic Saint book?
No flames for asking in sf-lovers please; the Saint has dealt with
sf-like subjects many times (the weapon in _The_Last_Hero_, giant ants,
making gold,etc). Please reply via mail, unless you think you have
something of general interest.
