[sci.space] GPS: almanac data on the net?

beland@IREQ.Hydro.Qc.CA (J.Beland) (02/06/91)

I am aware that the almanac of the GSP (Global Positionning System) satellites
are available by modem at USNO and GPSJPO (Join Program Office), and I know how
to get it from both locations.

My question is: is this almanac available somewhere in the News, or by
anonymous FTP? And if so, where?

Please reply by email, and thank you in advance.
