[net.music] Classical Rock

bobr@zeus.UUCP (Robert Reed) (09/22/84)

Those of you who have suggested this is not a list of rock classics have one
more vote for that notion. Many of those listings I've never heard of
before and many are not rock. My own bias leans towards late 60's acid rock
with a few later offerings thrown in for spice. I've removed all the albums
I thought were too obscure to be classified as classical (The Collectors,
Blodwyn Pig, The Mighty Groundhogs, etc.), but the list, though partial, is
still very long.

	    What about BOWIE???

	    Roxy Music?

	    Sex Pistols?

Personally, I would pit "Exile on Main Street" by the Rolling
	 You-Know-Whats against any ever recorded.
