I need to find a source for timely (preferably monthly) information on active [water/air/photovoltics] solar energy developments, especially in regards to research, design and application in houses/buildings. [Popular Science, P. Mechanics, Fine Homebuilding, Mother Earth News, etc. I either read or subscribe to.] In the five local libraries I have been too, all of the materials on solar energy end at about 1982, and most are ~1978 vintage (shades of the end of solar tax rebates). It would be a bummer to build something based on 1982 information that was found at fault in 198[345678] 8-(. Most of the companies listed as hardware references are out of business. Letters to the referenced solar magazines (Solar Age - East Coast and Solar Energy Digest - West Coast) have been returned as "moved - cannot forward". I tried the "American Solar Energy Society" in Killeen, Texas. Unfortunately, they have moved (or went under) about 4 years ago with no forwarding address either (this from the new owner of their old phone number). Heck, I would settle for something from out of the country (in English). Canada seems to be doing alot these days in energy conservation techniques. Any ideas? -- Marc A. ries@trwrb.TRW.COM sdcrdcf!---\ ihnp4!------\----- trwrb! --- ries
