I'm involved in a futures research project and need access to lots of "trend" information (i.e., shifts in patterns, attitudes, behavior) with respect to technological, cultural, social, economic, political, ecological, etc., factors in the United States and the world at large. I've found several sources, e.g.: (1) periodicals such as The Futurist, (2) the Congressional Research Service's issue briefs, and (3) texts such as Naisbitt's Megatrends and Drucker's recent The New Realities. Is there a more systematic approach -- perhaps a compilation of sources of trend-related information? If not, what are your individual recommendations as to the most productive sources of such information. I appreciate your help.
