bachelors level degree in computer science.

Desired - Emacs (esp. Gnu), TeX (esp. LaTeX), writing n/troff macros,

The Position:

A senior systems analyst is required to join a R&D group creating
a complete software development/project management Environment.
We intend to support the software development life cycle from the
requirements phase straight through design, implementation,
installation, and maintenance while minimizing the amount of
repetitive work and maximizing reliability and maintainability.

We are currently in the middle of the design phase of this project and
will soon begin the implementation and testing of some of the
already-designed components.

The specific position to be filled involves the following:

Support and enhancement of one or more text editors, operating in a
windowed environment. The windowed environment will be achieved both
by use of X-windows on bitmapped screens and by developing a
character-only version of X for less sophisticated terminals.

Utilities to provide consistent user interfaces for electronic mail
and broadcast services, database administration, as well as other
administrative functions.

Extensions to the development language (either via a preprocessor or
by use of packages/classes in Ada or C++) to integrate database access.
