Dear netlanders, A colleague of mine is considering the purchase of a Flow Cytometer. Currently there are two under serious consideration: (i) Coulter EPICS-CS (ii) Becton Dickinson FACSTAR He would like to hear of any experiences - good, bad or normal - in using these machines. Also we have available locally a DEC VAX-11/750 running UNIX 4.2bsd. He would like to know if folks are aware of any programs for data capture and/or analysis of the flow cytometer information and results? These programs need not be working under UNIX (would be nice if they did!). He doesn't have access to the net or these groups, so please mail me direct and I will print out your replies for him.
