[sci.med] Anyone know of a device for automatically labeling tubes?

Does anyone know of a device that can be used to automatically label
tubes? It should be able to work on at least 1.5ml tubes (such as Eppendorf
tubes) and preferably others as well (such as small (0.5ml) Eppendorf tubes,
Falcon #2063 tubes (10mm x 75mm, slightly over 4ml capacity), and other small
tubes that are often used in large numbers). It should also be able to
autoincrement (or at least have an increment number button). It would also be
very nice if it could prefix/suffix the numbers with letters. It should also
stamp the labels directly on the tubes, as sticking tape labels on the tubes
would take almost as long as writing directly on the tubes.

I know that micro-test-plates with many wells are available, but if
your samples are too large or are radioactive, these are not an option (too
much danger of a spill if radioactive). And when I have to label over a
hundred little tubes, it takes hours. I must find a better way.

Please reply to sci.bio or send mail (I don't get sci.med or
misc.wanted).
