I am looking for digitized 3 dimensional representations of the human body for use in an experiment in computer animation. I am primary looking for outer-surface digitizations, I don't need data on internal organs, skeletons...etc. I am not too particular about how the data is formatted, contour lines, patches spline or poligonal representations would do equally well. I would prefer data that would represent a relatively "realistic" body rather than something that looks like a humanoid robot. I can probably use just about any data, regardless of detail, although given the choice I would prefer detailed information at least in areas where it is needed like the face and hands. To complete the project I really need a digitization of an entire body from head to toe. If you have detailed data available on a head/face or upper-torso (including arms and hands) it would be marginally useful. If you have this kind of data please contact me by USENET or other mail...please don't send the actuall data without contacting me first. At the current time this project is just an experiment not intended to produce any income.
