In article <12180@agate.BERKELEY.EDU>, era1987@violet.berkeley.edu declares: > I am an emancipated woman, and I am accustomed to and have > established my legal right to equal terms without regard to sex. But 'he' is NOT an "equal term without regard to sex", Mark. It refers to someone of the male gender. Perhaps you might be better served to ask people to call you 'IT'... a truly equal term without regard to sex! [...a lot of whining about MIT discriminating against females (deleted)...] > Should they lose their funding due to your posting, just > because you wanted to have a little fun, they might not be too pleased > with you. I don't think MIT or anyone else has much to fear from anything that you could do, Mark. > It is obvious that you have never encountered an > emancipated woman, and like Judge Teitelbaum, are accustomed to > women who submit to diminutive terms and other forms of > sexual stereotyping. I don't. If you have any more stupid questions, > don't hesitate to ask. The first Black to say, "Don't > call me boy," got similar treatment from bigots like you. They said, > "Why does that ol' colored boy get so teed off when we call him boy?" > I hope the analogy helps you overcome your learning disability. Mark, you never cease to amaze me (and most likely others) with the crap you can come up with. You bitch, gripe and scream about your "rights" then seem to want to fight like hell to restrict others "rights". For example, you scream bloody murder when someone suggests that someone yank your account on a system and claim that you have a right to freedom of speech. However, your twisted mind seems to believe that others don't share the same rights. It would be OK with you if the whole net was silenced so that no one could exercise his/her right to freedom of speech and call you a "she". You holler about these "viscious personal attacks" from people, yet turn around and post equally viscious attacks at anyone you damn well please. Well, Mark, you go ahead and do what you think you can pull off. Hell, write me back email... I'll tell you where to have the constable deliver the papers. Include me, John, Oleg, Trish, Bill, Pooh, MIT, Usenet, Texas California, the United States, the World... or whoever in your silly ass threats. Or you could learn how to grow up and live with other people... but I guess that is asking too much, huh? -- Allen Gwinn ...sulaco!allen allen@sulaco.UUCP Disclaimer: I speak for myself only (thanks Oleg)
