[misc.misc] What I don't know is

bill@isl.STANFORD.EDU (Bill Moore) (03/16/87)

How do we change? That is, at any moment, we are in some state
of awareness, some unexplainable but very real thing. Then, an
hour, a minute, an inch later, we are somewhere else! Is it the
outside world pushing us, or do we do it ourselves from within?
Hmmm... now I'm thinking that my mistake is assuming there's a
difference. Oh, now I see. The thing to be learned here is that
we must work with the outside world to guide ourselves and everyone
else to where we *really* want to go. Home.

This is interesting. The sky in California is a beautiful blue today,
except when it rains. What's the sky like where you are? Where are
you? I could look at the sky all day, if it weren't for the night.

What do you think about? What do you do about people who are unaware-
who don't understand how much we influence each other with every little
thing we do, even posting to the net?

What "popular" things do you think have the most hope for helping
to raise human consciousness? Religion? What did Buddha mean by
"I do not know where the world ends"? What did Jesus mean by
"I am the way, the truth and the light"?

Ever read any Alan Watts?

I send you a rainbow, streaming with every color I can imagine,
covered with a shimmering waterfall.

Imagine all the people, living for today.
You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I know someday you'll join us
and the world will live as one
