WANTED Garden School for the Handicapped in Burbank IL is looking for a payroll package that can handle the following: - bi monthly pay period - about 50 people - FICA taxes - The highest paid person this package will have to deal with is paid under $1000/year. - It must print checks. - Allow for daily time tracking. - Handle about 4500 job codes (see below). People in the school perform piece work, ie, are paid by the piece, and there are about 4500 different types of activities/pieces, each with a differing rate. It would be desirable to input each person's daily activity (no. hours, no. pieces, job code, etc) and have the system compute the wages. It should also be able to do any accounting required for end-of-year reporting. The unusual part of all this is the fact that all people in the system make so little that there's virtually no tax computations involved except FICA. The price should be $1000 or less. Source is NOT a requirement (although desirable), but some small support will then be required to implement any tax changes (etc) in the future.
