Hello! I am starting a new mailing list for those who are interested in small musical ensembles, with an emphasis on brass groups. The main topics of discussion will probably include: 1) Favorite pieces, arrangements, composers, publishers... 2) Getting gigs and otherwise promoting an ensemble 3) Good recordings or touring groups 4) Instrument preferences, etc. 5) Stylistics I hope the participants will include many actual members of such ensembles, but being in an ensemble is by no means a requirement! I am not planning on moderating this group (at this time, anyway), since I expect the readership to be small enough for it not to matter.
