[misc.misc] looking for canonical smileys file

hoop@khonshu.Colorado.EDU (Don Hooper) (07/14/90)

A friend of mine would like a copy of that file I saw on the net sometime
ago that had all the different ASCII smiley faces in it with their meanings.
I don't even remember what newsgroup I saw it in, so these newsgroups are my
best guess as to where to look. E-mailing it to me or pointing me at an FTP
archive are both perfect acceptable. Just in case there's any chance of
a deluge of people nice enough to send me a copy, perhaps those who wish
to e-mail it to me should first send a note offering this kindness, and
I will reply to each, asking only one for the file, but thanking all.
I don't normally read these newsgroups, but I did scan recent postings
in case any were relevant to my quest. Thus, followup postings will
probably not be seen by me, and would not be effective means of communicating
with me.
My apologies if this post is inappropriate to any of these newsgroups.
