The Jargon File has been released for review. You can snarf it via FTP from: mc.lcs.mit.edu 18.26.0.179 under /pub/jargon Look for a file called `jargon.<nnn>', where <nnn> is the digits of the current version number (that is, version 5.6.7 would be `jargon.567'). If you are reading this on USENET or are not on my list of people with FTP access, this note will be followed by 17 shar files which are all the parts of the Jargon File. This version is a draft for "The New Hacker's Dictionary", now expected to come out from MIT Press sometime in summer 1991.
