And for all you WNEW (102.7 FM, in NYC) fans out there... how about the Morning Mind Exercise? Boy, do I look forward to that... But here is a really interesting little fact... sometime during the summer I was at the Improv (a comedy night club, for all you non NYers, and non CAers), and guess who was one of the comedians? Non other than WNEW's own Mark McEwen (sp?). I found him to be quite funny... a real thigh slapper. I called him up when I got home (he has one of the night shifts), and asked him to play me a couple of songs... and he really seemed quite flattered that our group enjoyed him. I think he is continuing his rise to fame by opening for rock group in some of the clubs around the Villiage. If you hear he is playing anywhere... he really would be worth it... send my regards. Going way back, wasn't Scott Muni on WABC am along with Cousin Brucie? (Is Cousin Brucie still alive?).

The question was: what happened to Cousin Brucie (Bruce Morrow). He was the guest host on Jim Kerr's morning show on WPLJ (NYC) last week. I switched to that station and recognized the voice instantly. It was good hearing his voice, but not the TOP-40 music they play on WPLJ, so I didn't listen for long. (Disclaimer: no intentional disparagement of the TOP-40 style of music is meant herein, nor is any actual or imagined comparison being made between TOP-40 and any other forms of music discussed in this forum, either currently or in the future, on this or any other computer network, so help me Cousin Brucie.) -- Scott Orshan Bell Communications Research 201-981-3064 {ihnp4,allegra,pyuxww}!u1100a!sdo
