FOR SALE!!! Multi-user Xenix office-automation computer system. This is a repost of a previous message. I have since looked at the system personally, and have a better handle on what it contains: Computer System Bundle, consists of: 1) Harris Xenix Office Automation System, supports up to 10 terminals and two printers. Includes - ~2.5 Mbytes RAM - ~30 Mbyte Winchester Drive - 5 1/4 inch floppy drive - Internal tape backup unit 2) 132 column line printer (tractor feed) 3) 6 Harris Concept 100 Terminals (multi-terminal emulation, including wy50) 4) Xenix Operating System 5) Harris Standby Power Supply 6) Assorted Cables 7) Assorted accounting, payroll, word processing, and office productivity software with documentation. 8) As far as documentation goes, the software (including Xenix), and terminal manuals were there, but I never found a hardware manual. I have booted this machine (which is where the RAM and other H/W configuration info came from) and it works. The original owner claims that there are two hard disks, but I could not tell ( I don't know what the quirks of Xenix or Harris are). There are two LEDs that *look like* separately accessed disks, but when using Xenix, I could never get an in-use indication from the second one. The /dev entries were of little help, since they also referenced only one filesystem. Whether there are two disks and the system is set up wrong, or the original owner is incorrect about the number of them, I don't know. As far as the processor, the boot message said: "10 MHz 2WS" whatever that means. Price negotiable???
