Fluke 27 Handheld Multimeter for sale:
I paid $260 for it and will take the best offer around $200. I am selling it
to buy an ultrasonic cleaner so I will consider some trading arrangement for
an ultrasonic cleaner with a tank >= 3/4 gallon (and preferably a heater and
timer).
DESCRIPTION:
easy to use rotary dial
both fast auto-ranging and manual ranging
min/max, relative, and touch hold features
Audible continuity/Diode test
This multimeter is tough enough to work anywhere - in the dirtiest, grimiest, or
roughest jobs. Drop it. Overload it. Expose it to extreme temperatures
(storage: -55 to 80 degrees centigrade, operation -15 to 55 degrees centigrade),
high humidity, chemicals and contaminants (oil, kerosene, diesel fuel, gasoline,
isopropyl alcohol, hydrochloric acid... ). It is a totally sealed multimeter
with a separately sealed battery compartment so batteries can be changed without
compromising the primary case seal. It is cased in polycarbonate/polyester alloy
(used in car bumpers) and all components are shock mounted so it can withstand
shock, vibration ,and impact, especially at cold temperatures. It is
extensively overload protected and in most cases rather than requiring fuse
replacement the meter displays "OL" without damaging the internal circuitry.
The meter has a 31 segment analog bar graph allowing testing of erratic or
changing signals and making quick dynamic measurements such as peaking,
nulling, zero adjustment, or capacitor testing. The graph is updated 10 times
faster than the digital display.
The meter also stores the highest (max) and lowest (min) readings, allowing
monitoring of a signal for seconds hours, or days. The relative mode remembers
a reading and shows the difference between it and following readings. Touch
hold automatically memorizes a stabilized reading so the display can be viewed
after the measurement is made.
