Vignette #1: I caught Twilight Zone, the Movie last night on the cable. The first scene with Vic Morrow when he is in Viet Nam shows a group of American soldiers blowing a joint while Jimi Hendrix' "Purple Haze" plays in the background. Vignette #2: Heard 2 good songs on the radio this morning, "Stupid Einstein" by the Three O'Clock and "Little Man With a Gun" by the Minutemen. Vignette #3: Caught the receptionist watching the cluster of 4 video monitors which survey the parking lot while the Eurhtymics' "Sweet Dreams Are Made of These" played on her radio.
