I still have a few of the Maxtor XT-3280S drives for sale. I case you missed
the last posting, they are full height 5.25 inch SCSI drives. They format (on
an Amiga) to 244 megs (1000K megs... :-} 232 1024K megs). They are unused
drive, but are no longer in warranty. They were sold to a large data management
company, who never actually installed them in perminant systems. (The company
has now gone to 760 meg drives, that's why these are available...)
Here are the pertinant specs:
Drive type: Maxtor XT-3280S
# of cyls: 1224
# of surf: 15
sectors/track: 26 (512 byte optionally 256, 1024 or 2048 bytes)
average seek: 30ms
data trans: 1.5MB/sec burst, 900K/sec sustained
Power cons: 12V 4.5A, 5V 1.75A startup
12V 1.5A, 5V 1.75A sustained
