From: Morrill.PA@XEROX.ARPA SPOILER WARNING!!! If you haven't read the book you may not want to read on. Douglas Adams definitely opened a lot of unanswered questions in his latest installment of the Hitchiker's trilogy. I'm curious if anyone out there has a theory on any of these questions. 1) What is the Earth doing back in existance? 2) Why don't Fenchurch's feet touch the ground? 3) Why did Arthur, Fenchurch and Wonko the Sane receive gray crystal globes from the dolphins and why does Arthur's globe have only half of the inscription, "So Long, and Thanks ..." 4) Why would Trillian marry Zaphod and bear his children? 5) Is Marvin really dead? 6) And as Arthur was about to ask, why does Ford keep returning to Earth? Any ideas? Toby

Interesting set of questions. I would hazard that the answer to the question about Trillian and Zaphod is that Hey - Zaphod was a really cool dude, why shouldn't she want to marry him and have his children? I also sincerely hope that Marvin isn't dead. It would be a shame to break up a great team like that. Is it really true that there will be no more? I had heard about the movie, but hadn't heard that that would mean the end of the books as well. How sad... Lady Godiva
