Greetings everyone...the following Apollo workstation is up for sale.
NOTE: This is a repost since there was no response to an earlier
posting. Please also note that I will be out of town until 9/20/90,
so if I don't respond to you right away, that's why. I at least
wanted to get this out before I left. Thanks for reading!!
(1) - DN3000 workstation $2400
- 68020 processor, 68881 floating point unit
- 4MB RAM
- Micropolis 170MB ESDI disk (model 1355) with controller
(formats to 147MB under SR10.2)
- 19" monochrome monitor (1280x1024) with video card
- Apollo token ring interface card & box
- keyboard & 3 button mouse
- one serial port
- Passes all self test diagnostics, currently running SR10.2
- This machine is FULLY functional; either as standalone or in
an Apollo Token Ring network.
A few tidbits:
The machine is about the size of an IBM PC/AT computer. It is
currently running SR10.2 (BSD4.3 option) with X11R3. Apollo's OS
(Domain OS) can act like BSD 4.3, AT&T SYS V, or Apollo's own Domain.
Their BSD lookalike is for the most part BSD 4.3 compatible.
TERMS:
I will pay shipping in the US (lower 48 states only) via UPS normal
ground. You can take $100 off the price if you pick it up yourself
here near downtown Minneapolis, MN. Cashiers check or cash only
please.
