You betcha. "Rocheworld" was the name of the three-part serialization
of FLIGHT OF THE DRAGONFLY in ANALOG, December 1982 to February 1983.
In this case, it isn't that the serial ended up as a book, but that the
book was serialized in the magazine. Most of the serials that appear in
ANALOG (or any of the magazines, actually) are novels that have already
sold for book publication.
