Hi there. I just picked up a Callan Unistar 300 UNIX box, and am wondering if there's any stuff out there for it. I'm mainly looking for the following things: HARDWARE DEPARTMENT: * The Callan Video Board -- First I wanna know what it is, what it does. If I'm impressed I would like the board itself. * Networking boards (Ethernet preferrably). * More Winchester disks. If they're cheap, I'm always looking for more storage... * More memory * Support for Virtual memory -- I know the 68010 supports VM, but do you need hardware? If so, I'd like that hardware please. * anything else that sounds neat SOFTWARE DEPARTMENT * A newer OS -- I've got Unistar UNIX System V rev. 4.2. If there's something newer, maybe even BSD (possible?) * Networking extensions -- TCP/IP if possible, and UUCP (if it isn't already in the OS I've got; how can I tell?) * Virtual memory support (see above) * Anything else that sounds neat Please reply to me at the addresses below. Our mailer is acting a bit weird and may have munged my address in the From line. ______________________________________________________________________________ Donald Burr; Univ of California, Berkeley | America Online: DonaldBurr INTERNET: dburr@ocf.Berkeley.EDU |_CompuServe:_72540,3071____________ or: 72540.3071@compuserve.COM | "Send flames to /dev/null."
