Before I go and reinvent the wheel... I'm looking for a UNIX filter (for BSD 4.X/ULTRIX) which uses termcap to do terminal emulation. For example, I might want to call my home CP/M system where all the screen editors, spreadsheets, etc. are configured for an ADM3A lookalike (extended) terminal and have the screen codes and cursor key codes translated for my UNIX terminal (which is usually a VT100). Does anyone have such a program to give away? It seems unlikely that this need hasn't arisen before.
