I've got a Panasonic T33 electronic typewriter with a computer interface on it. Panasonic sells an 'interface adapter' for around $100 that looks to me like it's only a buffer box, allowing you to connect an RS-232 cable from your computer to the adapter, which then plugs into the typewriter. The connector on the typewriter is a DB-9, and it sure seems to me that this is ELECTRICALLY an RS-232 interface, with a DB-9 connector instead of a DB-25. If I'm wrong, or if you know what the interface at the DB-9 connector is, please let me know.... any help on this is greatly appreciated!!!!
