Well, I finally did it. I bought an RXV11 for my 11/23. Now a world of software is available (even if it is ancient). When I bought the disk drives, the person who sold it to me sent along his collection of disks which happened to have RT-11 on them. He also sent what documentation he had (which wasn't much - how to use PIP, how to use BASIC, etc.). Unfortunately, it doesn't say how to copy from disk to disk, or how to assign disk names, or how to add a printer and tell the system that there is a printer sitting on port 2 of the DLV11-J on my system (no Section 2!!). So... Does anyone out there have some excess RT-11 manuals? The disks he sent have version 2.6, version 3, version 4, and version 5. I'd like to get information for version 5, but for now anything will do. Also, does anyone know how I can get the RT-11 license transferred to my name? I seem to remember someone telling how to do this on this news group (comp.org.decus) about a year ago. Also, how much will it cost?
