We are going to be switching the Netnews over to a VMS machine in April. I need any and all available information on the software and or Comm Programs that will be needed to make this transfer. Right now, we receive our news from 'boulder' which is a Unix machine. If we are to continue to do this, I would need info on how and/or if we can receive this from a Unix machine to a VMS machine either on TCP/IP or NNTP. Also, is there any preference over TCP/IP such as JNET? Also, how will that effect our feed to another Unix machine? And how will that effect the remote 'rn' from working off of the VMS machine by serveral of out other Unix computers? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Robert M.
