First of all, my apologies for posting this to 'usa'...it was the only way I could get it to its target area from where I am (that I know of.) Anyhow: Is there anyone in Westchester, New York (914 are code) that could help me find an account on a machine with network access in their area? I have a friend at Sarah Lawrence College, and his school's idea of a computer department is a couple of Macs in a room somewhere. Not to put down SLC. Anyhow, I am trying to find somewhere I could get him a dialup account in his area so he can get on to Internet without having to use my account and call New Jersey. Can anyone help me? Thanks. He is running 1200baud dialup on a Mac SE. Thanks. -JBZimmerman! I get access from Westchester in a roundabout way. I call a local Telenet node, from there I link into the Protal COmmunications System in CA, and then onto UseNet! A very cheap connection and allows on-line storage and access to all the major NETs Pete
