I have some questions that I am stuck on: Is a EMM board able to be used for Expanded System Memory, ie. for programs that use Epanded Memory. I do not want to use it as a RAMDISK, which is the only thing I can see this card do. It is a Pamarvel Card, and can hold 2M of extra memory, which, if I can use as Expanded memory, I will be able to run some of my software much easier. I also want to use it as some disk caching. The software that came with it only allows to make it as a RAMDISK. Also: I have some chips, the numbers on the chips are as follows: 8445-382 and NMC3764N-20 <--- Both these numbers are on same chip. I was told these could be used as 6164-20's, but I want to know if it is true. If so, I have bunches of these that I can do things with! Please reply via E-Mail, as our news area is limited in space, and if I don't get on for 2-3 days, thousands of articles are lost. All help will be appriciated! -- Timothy Winslow/N9ICD Philosophy in life: tim@lakesys.lakesys.com Have fun in or: uunet!marque!lakesys!tim Whatever or: csd4.csd.uwm.edu!lakesys.lakesys.com!tim you do!!
