I am looking for a cheap (appx $150) portable to act as a second computer and note taker. Does anyone out there have an old tandy 100 or epson that is sitting in the closet? It doesn't have to be compatable with anything except a modem (300 baud is fine) and ascii. I only need to do word processing with it, and I would like to transfer stuff to my mac for formatting and printing. I dont even care if the damn thing has got a tape drive...
