Well - I did it. I broke the simm sockets on my 386sx adding memory and it now only shows 512k available. Is there anyone who can replace the simm sockets at a reasonable price. I don't want to swing for a new motherboard unless necessary. I wish I had a way of doing it myself - but I no longer am doing board level repair and don't have the solder station needed... Are there any reasonably priced repair depots that are good? Bill please reply by email... newsreading is tough without the PC to do it... -- Bill Pechter | "The postmaster always pings twice."
