Help... I need to find an Employee Scheduling Package that will run under UNIX. I have not been able to locate a company that has anything not "currently in development", and I need this yesterday. It should not be limited by number of employees (Over 1,000). It needs to be able to handle upwards of 200 departments/company as well. It needs to keep history of hours per shift for determining what is the appropriate number of hours and shifts to schedule for that week of the year. Must have provisions for entering requirements for a given week to generate employee schedules, on a week to week basis. Must have employee records listing preference and availability to be "considered" when schedules are generated, as well as training/abilities.. Must be able to handle both named and unnamed extras and floaters. Must be able to back trace absences, tardies, etc. and reasons given. Must be able to fill absences when queried (suggest alternates). If anyone knows of products that fill these (and other) requirements Please send me mail. Much Thanks In Advance
