In their most destructive air raid to date, Soviet bombers attack
numerous Finnish towns and cities, killing 50 and wounding 100.

20 Heinkel bombers raid the British coast, sinking two ships and losing
three of their own number.

The Balkan Entente agrees to offer membership to Hungary and Bulgaria.
They also praise Italy's "non-belligerent" policy.

The US protests repeated Japanese air raids on the Haiphong-Kumming
railroad, the sole route for US-China imports and exports. France, which
owns and operates the line, also protests.
