Minor sociological phenomenon:  About 9 years ago, the Hadassah Magazine
carried a small ad for pins and pendants that said J.A.P.  They were
thoroughly flamed and withdrew the ad, apologizing to all and sundry.

My (then) wife was active with Hadassah and enquired about how many responses
had been received.  While Hadassah HQ would not give out the figures, they
commented that about 2/3 of the flames had been from men.
