Which way to move - Talmudic sages tell us to move by 'way of right.'
Which way is that? In the Shulchan Aruch, Orech Chayim, Hilchos Chanukah,
siman 676, Be'er Haytayv, os 4 - Rhine communities lit the Chanukah lights
from left to right. Austrian communities lit from right to left. See there in
Biur Halachah. So according to some, 'way of right' means going from left to
right, according to others, it means going from right to left. In the former,
it is a matter of the direction of action. In the latter, it is where you
begin the action.

Now, what about circular motion? Chassidim dance counter-clockwise, but the
pelts of their streimels are clockwise. Crackpot theory - clockwise motion
'turns on.' That's why headgear is clockwise. Turn on brain.
Counter-clockwise 'turns off.' Dancing counter clockwise to turn off
sexual energy. Therefore, to turn on sexual energy, massage heel of
foot in clockwise direction, to turn off, massage heel
counter-clockwise.

Misnagdim wind on tephilin clockwise, chassidim wind them on counter-
clockwise. Payos (hair locks) are twirled clockwise. Tzitzis are wound
clockwise (when viewed from the top knot). What does it all mean? Any
comments, you guy??

There is a principle that everything can change to good.
If you believe that you can destroy and desecrate,
believe also that you can build and make holy...
