Dear Friends:
Some of us have decided to revive India Now, a newspaper we had
been associated with in the past, which has not appeared for some
time now. The paper will be assembled electronically and printed
on a laser printer to be xeroxed and mailed.
The first issue dated September 1986 contains about 20,000 words
(20 printed pages). We are posting the entire newspaper in five
parts on nlang.india. It appears to be too bulky to be mailed to
each of the persons on this list. We suggest instead that you
send us your real addresses (US Postal Service) so that we can
send you the printed version. There is of course a catch in that
xeroxing and mailing costs money, so we are asking for $20 a
year. [You can decide on whether to subscribe after looking at
the first issue.] If this is a lot for you, or if you want the
computer version for some purpose, please contact me at rbdmg%cuvmb.bitnet.
Subscriptions should be sent to India Now, P.O. Box 37, Westmount,
Quebec H3Z 2T1, Canada.
Below, I am including the table of contents from the September
issue.
With regards,
Sekhar
