In addition to effecting a TIE, only for the second time in history, the recent Test at Madras was notable for two stellar performances. 1) After Australia scored 540+ runs in the first innings, India managed to avert the follow on by scoring 370 (approx) runs, thanks to a brilliant century by Kapil Dev. 2) Here is the big one: The opening batsman K. Srikkanth scored six sixers in an over, the first ever batsman to do so in Test cricket. Sobers and Ravi Shastri have achieved that in County and Ranji cricket resply ! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! -- S.
