Dear people of the net: I am reasearching the question of using computers and networks to assist in teaching college level students. I am looking for refrences to studies exploring past efforts in this field and related studies. I am also interested in current efforts and peoples reactions to them. If you would please, take some time and answer the following questions. Either mail to me or follow-up to soc.college. Thank you for your assistance. 1. Does your school use computers as classrooms, not as preprogrammed teaching stations? 2. What is your opinion of computer classrooms? 3. For what reason did you school give for the creation of computer classrooms? 4. How did the class compare to typical classrooms? 5. And what did you find lacking in the computer-assisted instruction. Thank you for your time..... -- Victor O'Rear {ihnp4, hp-labs!hp-sdd, akgua, sdcsvax, nosc}!crash!victoro ARPA: crash!victoro@nosc and the Byte Information eXchange [victoro] Mail Stop: Star Trek Association for Revival - San Diego Post Awful Box 15373, San Diego, Calif. 92115 (15 Years old) Announcement Machine: (619) 589-0404 (Sometimes it Answers Too) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good day for overcoming obstacles.
