WANTED: Examples of Student Work from Computer Graphics Courses There will be an SIGGRAPH Education Committee Booth at SIGGRAPH '88. The SIGGRAPH Education Committee is soliciting samples of work produced by computer graphics students at any level and in all disciplines. You are invited to submit examples of your student's work for consideration. Our intent is to display or show all entries if possible. Should the number of entries be excessive we will use a selection process. The selected samples will be used as illustrations of the types of work students are able to produce. The work can be in the form of unmatted paper hard copy (the committee will mat those selected and they will be used for booth enhancement) or slides (will be used in video presentations in the booth). (Video tapes and student posters for their respective contests should be sent to Deborah Coleman, deadline June 15). All work will be properly credited in a published catalog and by labels on displayed work. ENTRIES DUE JULY 8, 1988 All entries should include the following student and course information so its context can be understood: - Title - Student background (Computer Science, Mathematics, Art, etc) - Hardware and software used to produce the work - Special techniques used. All entries will become the property of SIGGRAPH and will be not be returned.
