[net.sf-lovers] The Black Company vs. The White Company

This is in response to a review of the third book in the "Black Company"
series, in SFL V10 #119. I haven't read any of the "Black Company" books,
and indeed wasn't aware of them until I read this review, but the title
suggests a reference to Arthur Conan Doyle's "The White Company", a
historical novel about a company of mercenaries, set around the time of
the Crusades. If you enjoy the Black Company books, it would probably be
worth reading the Doyle to see if there is more than just a coincidence of
titles. "The White Company", although not up to the quality of the Holmes
works, is quite readable Doyle.
