I agree with Lou.  A few years back, while I was in college, I
got to know one of the local families quite well (big brother to
the four youngsters).  The father had died a short time before
I met the family, so I helped out a lot with "fix-it" things,
Christmas Tree lights, etc.

One evening, I was sitting with the mother in the evening and
she began to cry.  She explained that years ago (in her teens),
she had an abortion and that this was the anniversary of that day.
The baby would have been the same age as I was and she couldn't
help wondering if the child would have turned out to be like me.
