[talk.abortion] Profile of a Predator

:-[ >a matter of *personal opinion*, or more precisely, a matter of religious
:-[ >conviction. And the right to religious freedom is guaranteed by the
:-[ >Constitution.
:-[
:-[ This is a wonderful little falacy of the pro-choice side. They feel
:-[ that ALL PRO-LIFERS are moved by religious feelings.

Read it again, john-boy : that is NOT what Moira Mallison said.
Are you a liar, or are you stupid or illiterate ?

:-[ Let me point out
:-[ that I became anti-death penalty first, THEN anti-abortion. My
:-[ reasoning was based not so much on religious thought as it was on
:-[ logically extending the fact that the right to life is paramount and
:-[ if that right is removed, all other rights are unimportant.

So, johny, to be consistent with your extremist attitude, you must
be an ultra-liberal philanthropic pacifist veggitarian, who doesn't
pay taxes since that money is spent on weapons, and opposes the use
of deadly force in the prevention of felonies or the apprehension
of dangerous felons. You've given all your ( money except the
bare minimum you need to live ) to feed and clothe and shelter
the homeless, and you want the goverment to take everyone's
property away so that the goverment can do that. You don't drive,
and want to ban dangerous cars, since it's more important to
prevent highway deaths than to allow people to move about. You
want to ban aircraft as well. And cigarettes and alcohal
and guns of all type, especially handguns. If attacked, you
would not defend yourself. If about to be raped, you would
not defend yourself. You are a member of a volunteer fire department.

If all this and lots more of the same are not true, then you are
a TYPICAL ANTI-CHOICE HYPOCRITICAL LYING ASSHOLE. If they are
true, you are either a five year old or a PSYCHOTIC FANATIC.

No right is paramount. A life without liberty and the ability
to pursue happiness is not worth calling a "human life".

:-[ The religious "backing" that I feel my opinion holds came much later, on
:-[ net.abortion, as a matter of fact, when some people made the claim
:-[ that anti-abortion and Christianity are not compatable. THEN, I did
:-[ some looking and, from what I read, I disagree. Also, my friend is a
:-[ "non-believer" and he agrees on the premise that since there is NO
:-[ afterlife, all life is precious and should be preserved since this "is
:-[ it". How does that fit into you scheme?

Easy. Death is what happens when the anti-choicers finally win.
Until then, pro-choicers must fight the good fight. It's
what makes life worth living.

Or does John-boy believe in predestination ? That's a real loser
of a philosophy. "The fetus was PREDESTINED to be aborted". Chortle.

:-[ In any event, if it was my *personal opinion* that all women,
:-[ blacks, etc. were sub-human, should I be legally allowed to act
:-[ in a manner assuming that those beliefs were correct

Yes you are, johny. As long as you don't violate any other person's rights.

:-[ or should those groups (and others) be protected from such
:-[ anti-social behavior?

Do you know what "anti-social" means ? Anyway, see the previous reply.
What about protecting dogs from dog haters ? Protecting cows from
cow haters ? Where do we draw your well defined line ? Chimps ?

:-[ Killing what, for all we know, might be a human is to be willing to
:-[ kill a human.
:-[ (Paraphrased from an old .signature of mine...)

Which you probably got flamed to dust on and therefor dropped. Because
it is such a very asinine thing to say. Isn't it ?

:-[ > Moira Mallison
:-[
:-[ John Morrow These are my opinions (no one else seems to want them...)
