What I believe about President Ronald Reagan. I believe that President Ronald Reagan is a sincere man. I believe he wants to do good things for Americans. I believe that President Ronald Reagan believes the term America stands for the United States. I believe that President Ronald Reagan believes that Nicaragua is not part of America. I believe that President Ronald Reagan believes that Contras are freedom fighters and Sandinistas are not. I believe he cannot conceive that the citizens of Nicaragua might see Contras and Sandinistas as being the same. I believe that President Ronald Reagan believes that the government of Nicaragua is communist and that the government of South Africa is not, and I believe that President Ronald Reagan believes that this makes the situations in those two countries fundamentally different. I believe that President Ronald Reagan believes that revolution is not justified on the grounds that peoples' inalienable rights have been usurped, unless the usurper is a communist government. I believe that President Ronald Reagan believes that there is a devil in the world, that the devil is evil, and that the devil controls communist governments, drugs, and pornography. I believe that President Ronald Reagan believes that there is a causal link from pornography to sex crimes, and another from the use of marijuana to the use of heroin. I believe that President Ronald Reagan believes that evil operates deterministically but good operates by free will or devine intervention. I believe that President Ronald Reagan believes that abortion is morally wrong and therefore evil. I believe that President Ronald Reagan believes that the nuclear family is the backbone of American society. I believe that he believes that it is better for a person to be married than to be single. I believe that President Ronald Reagan is doing the best he can. I didn't vote for him. Marty Smith
