[talk.bizarre] Ok, now what?

So we've got a group. Now what do we do?

What I usually do is check first to see if it is finite or infinite.
If it is finite, is it abelian? What are its normal subgroups? If it
turns out to be a non-abelian simple group, then I try to construct
it as a galois group over Q, because that really turns me on. I'm a
wild party animal when it comes to generic extensions of groups!

   What do YOU do??
