The local wire service announced today that the experiment
in artificial inteligence known under the code name 'Shelli Meyers'
was canceled recently due to pentagon budget cuts. A high level
source in the administration when pressed for a reason for this program
cut stated, "...It seemed like a good idea at the time."
It is rumored that protest groups are forming to begin an
E-mail campain against the local gods (bu-cs!bzs). They are rumored to
begin mailing dead small furry rodents in an attempt to have the
'Shelli Meyers' program restored.
