[talk.bizarre] BIFF is alive and well

richard@pande.UUCP (richard) (12/28/88)

Not only is BIFF alive and well, he has an atari ST. This is sort
of a ``best of comp.sys.atari.st digest'' The headers have mostly
been removed to protect the innocent. Those with .signatures are
not innocent.

And what an artical it is !

Yes, dont send email. POST an ARTICAL!

Oh my. Dave, he's one of yours. Do you know about this?

I gotta admit, I love the concept. ``I know, I'll make a signature
file to point out that I don't know my address'' After all. it's much
easier to post my lack of understanding of network addresses to 275,000
people than to ask the guy next to me who knows what my address is.

As anybody who as ever read comp.sys.atari.st can attest, this little
gem is every third message in comp.sys.atari.st.

This is one better than the ``I want to unsubscribe'' mesage. Nice
to know your status every now and again, there, Micheal

The good part is, his mail went through CERN, in Switzerland, and if
you think this guy is pissed, you can well imagine how they feel over the
fact that this guys system keeps looping mail back to itself (big clue -
``the headers keep getting bigger''. Duh.)
