Actually, the one and only time my mother tried to use this on me as a child,
my response was, "Well, yes, I probably would, since, if *everybody* _was_
jumping off a bridge, there'd probably be a pretty good reason for it --
like, maybe the bridge was burning, or collapsing, or something."

So much for that argument.
