This month an educator named Frank Reed was abducted in Beirut. A good friend of mine with no net access was a student of his when he was a teacher in the United States. My friend cannot get any information about his status from the State Department, not being a relative, but is concerned about his welfare. I thought that there might be someone out there--especially across the Atlantic--who has heard more news details than I or my friend has, or is knowledgeable enough about the Lebanon situation to provide a reasonable set of ideas as to his possible status, probable fate, or chances of his release. I realize I may be barking up the wrong tree here, but since my friend and I are in a complete information vacuum at this point, anything that resembles useful information would help a great deal. Please send all replies by e-mail. If anyone else is interested in the information I get for similar reasons I will provide them with copies. Thank you in advance. -- ======================================================= Adams Douglas ARPA:crash!adamsd@nosc.arpa UUCP:adamsd@crash.uucp JPL/NASA MaBell:818-354-3076 My opinions!
