Hello, Netters...
I was recently contacted by someone wanting help selling his Amiga 2000
system. (He contacted me because I'm actively involved in our local user
group.) Anyway, I thought some of you might be interested...
system: Amiga 2000
3 megs (on a card which can be populated to 8 meg.)
2 internal 3.5" disk drives

When I spoke with him, Mr. Herbert had not fully inventoried his system and
hadn't come up with a firm price, but he said it would probably be around
$3000. He bought the system a few months ago to play around with in hopes
of using it in his animation business. He's quite fond of the system, but
has concluded that the video output quality isn't suitable for his customers,
and he needs to put his (his stockholders', I guess) money into other equipment.
Let me emphasize...DO NOT contact me about this. I can't give you any more
information than this. Please contact Mr. Herbert directly. (I'll be out of
town for the Holidays anyway, so I won't even see your mail.)
I hope this makes someone happy. I wish I could buy his system for my own
Christmas present. Perhaps YOU can.
